Terms of Service

These terms apply to dropquest.gg, the DropQuest API at api.dropquest.gg and the DropQuest apps (together, the “Service”), run by DropQuest (“we”, “us”). By using the Service or creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

DropQuest collects game prices from stores and public price sources, shows price history and regional prices, estimates whether it is a good time to buy, and notifies you when games you track reach your target. The Service is free of charge.

DropQuest is not a store. We do not sell games, keys or subscriptions, take payments or provide refunds or customer support for purchases.

• You need a Google or Apple account to sign in. You must be at least 16 years old.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in method and API keys safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account. You can sign out of all devices from Settings.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone.

Prices, discounts, availability, regional prices and currency conversions come from third parties and are refreshed periodically. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and stores can change them at any time. The price shown at the store’s checkout is the final price.

Converted amounts are estimates based on daily exchange rates. Taxes, fees and regional restrictions are set by each store.

Scores and labels such as “Buy now or wait”, historical lows and upcoming sales are automated estimates from past data. They are not financial or purchasing advice and are not a promise that a price will go up or down.

When you follow a store link, any purchase is a contract between you and that store under its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the store’s products, keys, delivery, refunds or region locks.

Some store links are affiliate links, including links that go through CheapShark and affiliate networks. If you buy through them we may earn a commission. This never changes the price you pay and does not affect the order in which offers are shown, which is by price.

DropQuest is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve, GOG, Epic Games or any other store. Game titles, artwork and store names belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the products.

Autobuy lets you set a price limit and a monthly budget for a game. When an offer meets your rule, DropQuest creates a purchase reminder and notifies you. You confirm it, we check the live price again, and then send you to the store, where you complete and pay for the purchase yourself.

• DropQuest never logs in to stores or pays on your behalf, and never asks for your store password or card details.
• The monthly budget only limits the reminders we create. It does not limit what you spend at stores.
• An offer can end or change between the alert and your checkout. Reminders expire after 48 hours or when the sale ends.

If you link Steam, you allow us to read your public Steam profile, game library and wishlist to mark games you own and import your wishlist. You can unlink at any time.

Alerts are delivered through third-party services you choose (email, browser or phone push, Telegram, Discord). Delivery depends on those services and may be delayed or fail; do not rely on alerts for time-critical decisions. You are responsible for the Discord webhooks you add and the channels they post to.

You can create personal API keys in Settings. Keys are for you and your own projects; do not share them publicly. API use is subject to rate limits and to these terms. Do not use the API to build a copy of the Service, to resell bulk price data, or to get around rate limits. We may change the API, limits or availability, and revoke keys that are abused.

You agree not to:

• scrape or crawl the Service at scale outside the documented API, or get around rate limits or other protections;
• interfere with, overload or try to break the security of the Service or other users’ accounts;
• create accounts by automated means or use someone else’s account;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, or send spam or harmful content through alert channels or webhooks;
• misrepresent DropQuest’s data or present it as your own service.

The DropQuest name, logo, design, software and compilations of data are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by law. You may share links and screenshots for personal, non-commercial use. Everything else requires our written permission.

We work to keep DropQuest available and accurate, but we may change, pause or end features, data sources or the whole Service, with or without notice. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of prices, insights or alerts, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate prices, missed or delayed alerts, a store’s actions, or purchases you make at stores. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are handled by the courts and consumer arbitration committees of Türkiye that have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
