Control Resonant sells 1 million copies in three weeks

Remedy’s new game is the fastest-selling title in the studio’s history, beating Alan Wake 2’s pace.
Remedy Entertainment announced in mid-October that Control Resonant, released on September 24, sold 1 million copies in about three weeks. That makes it the fastest-selling game in Remedy’s history.
How it compares
Alan Wake 2 took about two months to reach the same mark.
The original Control (2019) needed more than a year to reach 2 million; it passed 6 million as of March 2026.

Why it matters for Remedy
Control Resonant is the first game of this scale that Remedy has published itself. CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon called the launch a strong step for the studio. According to Remedy, the game breaks even at 3–4 million sales, so the first million is a good start, but only the start.
Price
The game costs $59.99 on Steam.
